Lake Architectural was the architectural firm in charge of the $2,300,000 project involving both renovations and additions. The entire inadequate Technology Wing (including Art, Music, Band and Home Economics rooms) was renovated to make the area useful to the current curriculum. This included downsizing the Technology Room to incorporate a Computer Room in the wing. Mobile computer supplies allow teachers to incorporate technology into all aspects of their lessons.
The 6,000 square foot addition contains a much needed cafeteria and three classrooms. The previous table storage area was renovated into a serving area adjacent to the kitchen.
Lake Architectural specified green and sustainable products that are proven to withstand time and do not adversely affect the budget.
Lake worked closely with the Superintendent and the Design Team to create a design that satisfied the school district and the SED. Lake has been involved in all portions of the phases to date. In addition to this project, an Emergency Electrical Main Project arose which Lake took up and resolved without interruption to the ongoing original project.
